Tournament Cancellation & Refund Responsibility

Court Control provides the software and, in many cases, on-site tournament direction. It does not own tournament venues, collect entry fees on the organizer's behalf (at this time), or make cancellation decisions unilaterally.

If a tournament is cancelled or rescheduled: the decision is made by the tournament's organizer (e.g., the community group or club running the event), in consultation with Court Control where Court Control is serving as Tournament Director. Refunds, credits, or rescheduling policies for entry fees are set and administered by the organizer, since fees are currently paid directly to the organizer, not through Court Control. Court Control will reflect cancellations/reschedules in the app (updated dates, status, communications to registered players where possible) but is not the party responsible for issuing refunds.
